Two men named Eyüp
Eyüp Doğdu started in photography in 1994, aged sixteen, in the darkroom of a professional lab. He studied philosophy, worked as a photojournalist, and has photographed fashion since 2002. He knows that black is never the same black on two fabrics, and that a jacket's character can hide in a single line at the shoulder.
Eyüp Türkay has spent more than thirty years building the world behind the image. He worked on Istanbulkart, the system that quietly carries millions of journeys across Istanbul every day, and later at a major European telecom company. His craft is the order nobody notices and everything rests on.
One knows what light does to fabric. The other knows how to repeat the work with the same care every time.
